In the series that Rolling Stone cites as the “most exciting drama around right now,” Fringe returns from a season of alternate realities and endless impossibilities to explore the boundaries of a mysterious mythology that holds millions of viewers in its hypnotic grasp. Denizens of last season’s Fringe-verse included shape shifters, cryonic heads, belly-dwelling beasts and people who turn to ashes before our eyes. But Season Three continues the rabbit-hole journey of three unlikely souls — FBI Agent Olivia Dunham, Fringe Scientist Walter Bishop and his jack-of-all-trades son Peter — through mind-bending investigations, parallel realities and threats growing in the borderlands between science and the unimaginable. The world of the impossible is alive and well in this series that offers “the most satisfying, coherent story arc of any science-fiction-flavored primetime drama.” (The New York Times)

I bought season 1 a few days ago, watched the pilot, and I loved it! I haven't seen season 2 or 3 yet, but I have watched all the way up to Bad Dreams in season 1, and I not stop watching it. And, like some of you, I like Walters character. He really brings some sort of light to this dark show.

Very good, strong solid sci-fi. Dark, deep and addictive. Highly recommended for fans of the fantastic. Can't wait for the third season completion.
  • iTMS plot thickens more than Fringe plot

LOL, so the fix for the missing episodes (16 and 17) was to change the number of episode 18 (Bloodline) to episode 16? Messing up the episode numbers like this is really going to play havoc on the actually story line. I wonder if anyone in iTMS realises that Fringe has a plot that follows a sequence from episode to episode? Episode 16 is supposed to be "Os" and Episode 17 is supposed to be "Stowaway". I love the show (Fringe) but I really am disappointed with the way it is being managed in iTMS :-( [ Update: Yey! Episode 18 is back where it should be and the gaps have finally been filled! The world is once again good :-) ]
  • Where are Episodes 16 & 17?

    By bborun
Why does this sort of omission continue to recur? The episodes have aired but they are not available through iTunes! The iTunes Store is seriously devaluing its (overpriced) Season Pass and alienating its faithful customers and day-to-day evangelists. We, their customers, are savvy enough to search the Net, where this season can be purchased and shipped within 5-10 days for around AU$45. If they want to charge a premium price then they must be prepared to provide premium service. Therefore, the one-star rating is for iTunes, The Nine (Australia's worst for programming consistency) Network and Warner Bros (for imposing this sort of contractual farce on us), not the show.
  • Oh iTunes...

After several episodes finally being shown on free-to-air, Episode 18 was finally available on iTunes to those of us with a Season pass. Pity Episode 16 and 17 aren't also available. Now we can watch Episode 20, which is awesome... until you realise that Episode 19 is missing. Seriously Apple, I know you're restricted by when this is shown on free-to-air but we spent $60 on this over 6 months ago and we still haven't been able to enjoy watching the episodes in the right order. Go has been showing these at a rate of 2 or 3 spisodes per week for the last few weeks and I stupidly insisisted on waiting until we could watch it via iTunes. More fool me. Lesson - until Apple is able to seperate itself from free-to-air publishing commitments, don't waste money on buying series' via iTunes. As a long-term user of iTunes, someone who buys all thier movies and series via iTunes, this has been a massivly frustrating and disspointing experience.
  • Wonderful show but awful delivery of episodes

    By Erylate
Fringe is a very good show that keeps getting better. It is a shame that it is treated with such disrespect by the powers that be. I don't know who is to blame - Apple, Channel 9 or Fox - but after the ad-hoc manner in which episodes have been released this season I am seriously considering why I am even remaining a customer with this store. I have also noticed this laziness creeping into other shows - Castle used to be released the day after it was shown on FTA but now it has started lagging as well. Also Apple you may want to address your poor customer relations with Australian customers. I searched for a quick and easy way to ask questions about this show but the links for feedback are somewhat hidden in your website. Then having an American rep deal with an Australian customer who at first gave me a copy and paste answer that didn't actually give my any details about the missing episodes is a great example of the arrogance that many Apple haters love to describe about Apple the company. I didn't appreciate a "Here is a link - tell someone who cares" fob job from a company that I am paying for a service. Since no-one can is able to explain adequately why Fringe season 3 and worse, doesn't seem to be interested in helping, keeps getting missing episodes I guess I will have to start looking elsewhere to spend my hard earned on...
